Measure 4L of water. You have two containers, one of 5 litres and the other of 3 litres. Your task is to measure exactly 4 litres of water in the container.

Step 1: Fill the 5L container and pour the water from 5L container to 3L container. Now 2 litre of water is remaining in 5L container.
Step 2: Empty the 3L container.
Step 3: Pour the remaining 2 litre water from 5L container to 3L container. Now there is 2 litre of water in 3L container and Empty 5L container.
Step 4: Fill the 5L container again completely and again pour it into the 3L container.
Now there is 4 litre of water remaining in the 5L container because 3L container had space left for 1 litre of water only, Hope it clears everything.
